Coronavirus Numbers for September 30th: 1,300 Lives Lost in Wisconsin

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 119,955 positive cases (an increase of 2,367 over the previous day) and 1,300 deaths, an increase of 17 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 7,209, or 6%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 407 positive cases and 5,562 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 567 positive and 14,825 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,969 positive and 22,457 negative and Jackson has seen 152 positive and 6,464 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 831 positive and 14,851 negative, Marathon has seen 1,458 positive and 20,857 negative and Taylor has seen 194 positive and 2,851 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Wood has had 5 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 4 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
