Coronavirus Numbers for September 28th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,399,218 negative cases, 115,862 positive cases (an increase of 2,217 over the previous day) and 1,281 deaths, no increase over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 7,095, or 6%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 397 positive cases and 5,519 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 546 positive and 14,662 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,887 positive and 22,343 negative and Jackson has seen 150 positive and 6,390 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 826 positive and 14,670 negative, Marathon has seen 1,380 positive and 20,773 negative and Taylor has seen 184 positive and 2,808 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Wood has had 5 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 4 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
