Coronavirus Numbers for September 22nd

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,337,627 negative cases, 102,498 positive cases (an increase of 1,271 over the previous day) and 1,244 deaths, an increase of 2 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 6,692, or 6%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 327 positive cases and 5,215 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 480 positive and 13,887 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,617 positive and 21,015 negative and Jackson has seen 107 positive and 6,243 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 692 positive and 13,704 negative, Marathon has seen 1,081 positive and 19,761 negative and Taylor has seen 151 positive and 2,652 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Wood has had 4 people die from the virus, Taylor has had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
