Coronavirus Numbers for September 18th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,304,724 negative cases, 94,746 positive cases (an increase of 2,034 over the previous day) and 1,231 deaths, an increase of 3 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 6,522, or 6%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 308 positive cases and 50,055 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 447 positive and 13,295 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,398 positive and 20,641 negative and Jackson has seen 96 positive and 6,136 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 627 positive and 13,260 negative, Marathon has seen 952 positive and 19,405 negative and Taylor has seen 143 positive and 2,575 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
