Greenwood School Board Approves Spectator Guidelines for Sporting Events

-The Greenwood School Board approved spectator guidelines for fall sporting events at their meeting on Monday.

For matches in the west gym, athletes will receive 4 adult tickets per player per game and 2 adult tickets per player per game for visitors. The gym will be cleared and cleaned after each match and up to 20 student tickets for the varsity match will be distributed through a lottery system. For matches in the east gym, 2 adult tickets will be given per player per game and 2 adult tickets will be given per player per game for visitors. No students will be allowed at these games. For football games, 4 adult tickets will be given per player per game and 4 adult tickets will be given per player per game for visitors. Students will be limited to grades 9-12 and tickets will be distributed on a lottery system.

The board also discussed and affirmed an intent to provide flexibility in the transportation contract similar to the approach taken last spring if the district is faced with an extended closure. The board also approved the 2020-2021 Liability Insurance policy with EMC. The board also received an update on the 2020 and 2021 budget.
