Coronavirus Numbers for September 17th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,295,313 negative cases, 92,712 positive cases (an increase of 1,408 over the previous day) and 1,228 deaths, an increase of 8 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 6,454, or 7%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 308 positive cases and 5,020 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 434 positive and 13,161 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,336 positive and 20,231 negative and Jackson has seen 94 positive and 6,115 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 616 positive and 13,179 negative, Marathon has seen 925 positive and 19,241 negative and Taylor has seen 139 positive and 2,551 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
