Coronavirus Numbers for September 16th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,284,525 negative cases, 91,304 positive cases (an increase of 1,348 over the previous day) and 1,220 deaths, an increase of 10 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 6,405, or 7%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has seen 301 positive cases and 4,957 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 423 positive and 13,084 negative, Eau Claire has seen 1,286 positive and 20,231 negative and Jackson has seen 94 positive and 6,013 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has seen 590 positive and 13,052 negative, Marathon has seen 905 positive and 19,081 negative and Taylor has seen 137 positive and 2,538 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
