Neillsville School Board Meets New Staff and More

-The Neillsville School Board met new staff members to begin their meeting on Monday.The board also approved the capstone project as presented and approved the addition of Policy JBAB as Addendum 2 in the Staff Handbook regarding Title IX sexual harassment. Superintendent John Gaier presented a proposed October calendar and education plan and the board then approved the October calendar and education plan as presented. The plan is very similar to the September plan, but includes the fall sports season that was approved by the board at their meeting at the end of August.
The board also approved the donation from Carol Oryszczyn to commemorate the 2020 retirees and approved the donation of face shields and sneeze guard dividers from Sunni Opelt. Finally, the board approved the anonymous donation to the food service program to help pay for unpaid lunch fees.
