Coronavirus Numbers for September 3rd

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,191,548 negative cases, 77,129 positive cases (an increase of 945 over the previous day) and 1,142 deaths, an increase of 12 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 5,916, or 7%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has 256 positive cases and 4,537 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has 354 positive and 12,230 negative, Eau Claire has 838 positive and 18,306 negative and Jackson has 76 positive and 5,895 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has 478 positive and 11,887 negative, Marathon has 788 positive and 17,783 negative and Taylor has 113 positive and 2,327 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
