Construction Work on Culvert East of Loyal on Highway 98 Begins Tuesday

-To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Gov. Tony Evers has signed a $418,750 contract to replace the culvert at Branch Rock Creek on WIS 98 east of Loyal in Clark County.Construction is scheduled to start Tuesday, Sept. 8. James Peterson Sons, Inc. is the prime contractor for the project. Construction also will include repaving the road with asphalt and marking the pavement. During construction, at least one lane of WIS 98 will remain open to traffic, controlled by temporary signals. Construction is scheduled for completion in October. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
