Wisconsin's July Commodity Prices

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin during July was $3.05 per bushel.According to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, that was 11-cents lower than June and 93-cents below the previous July. Soybeans averaged $8.36 per bushel, up 17-cents from June and a nickel higher than last year. Oat prices were 56-cents lower at $2.81 per bushel, and fell 26-cents below 2019.
And the all hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $150.00 per ton in July, down $4.00 from June and last July. The alfalfa hay price averaged $163.00 per ton, up $4.00 for the month, but $4.00 less for the year. And the other hay price averaged $119.00, down $4.00 from June 2020 and $6.00 below July 2019.
