Coronavirus Numbers for September 2nd

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,183,717 negative cases, 76,584 positive cases (an increase of 981 over the previous day) and 1,130 deaths, an increase of 8 over the previous day. Of the positive cases, 5,878, or 7%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has 254 positive cases and 4,508 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has 350 positive and 12,194 negative, Eau Claire has 825 positive and 17,771 negative and Jackson has 76 positive and 5,883 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has 472 positive and 11,817 negative, Marathon has 784 positive and 17,670 negative and Taylor has 112 positive and 2,315 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 14 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
