Coronavirus Numbers for September 1st

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has seen a total of 1,172,854 negative cases, 75,603 positive cases (an increase of 266 over the previous day) and 1,122 deaths. Of the positive cases, 5,817, or 7%, have been hospitalized. In total, Clark County has 252 positive cases and 4,480 negative. For our neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has 347 positive and 12,089 negative, Eau Claire has 801 positive and 17,509 negative and Jackson has 76 positive and 5,874 negative.
Also, in total, Wood has 458 positive and 11,717 negative, Marathon has 778 positive and 17,531 negative and Taylor has 104 positive and 2,304 negative. Clark County has had 8 people die from the virus; Marathon has had 13 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 6 people die from the virus; Taylor and Wood have had 3 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had one person die from the virus.
