Man Appears in Wood County Court for Drug Charges

Tuesday, August 25th, 2020 -- 9:04 AM

-A man arrested for drug charges appeared in Wood County Court on Monday.

According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, at the end of July, Jacob Immerfall and Jeffrey Foeckler Jr were arrested after the execution of a search warrant on Immerfall’s property. Authorities were searching the property because of a connection they believe Immerfall has to a missing Marshfield man, Zachary Vasa. One of the charges against Immerfall was hiding a corpse, but that wasn’t addressed during a recent court appearance. It was during this search that drugs and drug paraphernalia were found. Immerfall and Foeckler are facing various drug charges including conspiracy to commit manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of waste from methamphetamine manufacturing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Immerfall is being held on a $5,000 cash bond. Foeckler is being held on a $4,000 cash bond. Foeckler entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him on Monday. He’s scheduled to be back in court on November 24th. During Immerfall’s recent preliminary hearing, probable cause was found, so his court proceedings will continue. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him and he’s scheduled to be back in court on November 24th.
