Jackson County Squad Car Involved in Crash

A Jackson County squad car traveling on County Highway K was struck by a vehicle Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Old Hwy 54 Road by a driver that didn’t stop at a stop sign.The impact caused the squad car to leave the roadway and enter the ditch deploying all the airbags in the vehicle. The deputy was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
The squad car which was not in emergency mode at the time of the crash is a total loss. The Wisconsin State Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
