Two People Appear in Wood County Court for Drug Charges

Thursday, August 13th, 2020 -- 11:43 AM

-Two people appeared in Wood County Court Wednesday for drug charges.

According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, at the end of July, 34-year-old Jacob Immerfall and 34-year-old Jeffrey Foeckler Jr were arrested after the execution of a search warrant on Immerfall’s property. Authorities were searching the property because of a connection they believe Immerfall has to a missing Marshfield man, Zachary Vasa. One of the charges against Immerfall was hiding a corpse, but that wasn’t addressed during Thursday’s court appearance. It was during this search that drugs and drug paraphernalia were found. Immerfall and Foeckler are facing various drug charges including conspiracy to commit manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of waste from methamphetamine manufacturing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Immerfall is being held on a $5,000 cash bond. Foeckler is being held on a $4,000 cash bond. During Immerfall’s preliminary hearing, probable cause was found, so his court proceedings will continue. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him and he’s scheduled to be back in court on November 24th. Foeckler waived his preliminary hearing and his arraignment was scheduled for the 24th of this month.
