Greenwood School Board Hears Committee Reports

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Committee Reports at their meeting on Monday.The board heard the CESA 10 Report. Board member Mark Shain shared that he has been re-elected to the CESA Board for another 3-year term. The Buildings & Grounds Committee met on August 6th to review the status of summer projects and reopening preparations. The board also heard from a couple community members. A representative of the Greenwood Softball Association presented information to the board on a plan to upgrade the Softball Field at Scherer Park.
The Board was asked to consider a donation to this project. Another resident commented that opening school in person is the right move. He also asked if there was a plan for kids/parents who are not comfortable sending students back to school.
