Asphalt Bid and More at Withee Village Board Meeting

-The Withee Village Board approved an asphalt bid at their meeting on Monday.American Asphalt’s bid was approved for a Local Road Improvement Project. The board approved the police department hiring Yde Law to prepare a joint Owen-Withee Police Department agreement. The board also moved to look into a possible referendum to fund a third full-time officer.
The board also approved some liquor and operator licenses. The board convened into closed session to consult legal counsel in regards to litigation involved with Indianhead Community Action Agency. No action was taken after the closed session. Finally, the year to date budget was reviewed.
