Coronavirus Numbers for August 11th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 1,001,402 negative cases, 61,061 positive cases (an increase of 507 over yesterday) and 998 deaths. Of the positive cases, 5,031, or 8%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 193 positive cases and 3,767 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 239 positive and 10,475 negative, Eau Claire has 590 positive and 15,225 negative and Jackson has 58 positive and 5,448 negative.
Also, Wood has 305 positive and 9,625 negative, Marathon has 655 positive and 13,750 negative and Taylor has 71 positive and 1,941 negative. Clark County has had 7 people die from the virus. Marathon has had 9 people die from the virus. Eau Claire has had 4 people die from the virus. Wood has had 2 people die from the virus. Jackson and Taylor have had one person die from the virus.
