Coronavirus Numbers for August 10th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 993,742 negative cases, 60,554 positive cases (an increase of 621 over yesterday) and 998 deaths, an increase of 2 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 5,000, or 8%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 187 positive cases and 3,763 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 230 positive and 10,416 negative, Eau Claire has 588 positive and 14,814 negative and Jackson has 58 positive and 5,418 negative.
Also, Wood has 291 positive and 9,564 negative, Marathon has 646 positive and 13,658 negative and Taylor has 69 positive and 1,916 negative. Clark County has had 7 people die from the virus. Marathon has had 9 people die from the virus. Eau Claire has had 4 people die from the virus. Wood has had 2 people die from the virus. Jackson and Taylor have had one person die from the virus.
