Neillsville School Board Approves Several Items in Preparation for New School Year

-The Neillsville School Board approved several items at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the curriculum updates on ecology as presented and they approved the elementary student handbook for the next year. The board also approved nine rural bus routes and one special ed bus route for the next school year and they approved the Federal Milk Program for the next school year. The board also approved the food service contract for the next school year, approved the hiring of Nate McDonald for a teaching assistant position and approved the resignation of Logan Grap from his assistant basketball coach position.
The board also approved the Emergency Response Plan for the next school year. Finally, they heard the Administrators’ Reports. Administrator John Gaier reported on fall sports, an article on microschooling and testimony provided to the senate committee on virtual learning.
