Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Shed Fire

-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a shed fire Sunday morning.According to the department, the call came in around 10:37am of a shed fire at W7614 Star Road in the Township of Hewitt. When the department arrived, a 10X12 yard shed was almost completely burned down. The shed and its contents are a total loss. The department did ask for assistance from the Granton Fire Department, but it was canceled.
The department was on scene for 20 minutes and there were no injuries on their part. The owner of the property stated he used his lawn mower that morning and put it back in the shed when he was done. It is believed that was the cause of the fire.
