Coronavirus Numbers for July 28th: 160 Cases for Clark County, But Smaller Increase in State Cases

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 823,905 negative cases, 49,417 positive cases (an increase of 590 over yesterday) and 893 deaths, an increase of 1 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 4,420, or 8%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 160 positive cases and 3,291 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 194 positive and 9,426 negative, Eau Claire has 436 positive and 13,006 negative and Jackson has 40 positive and 4,832 negative.
Also, Wood has 165 positive and 7,972 negative, Marathon has 499 positive and 10,756 negative and Taylor has 41 positive and 1,597 negative. Clark County has had 7 people die from the virus. Marathon has had 4 people die from the virus. Eau Claire has had 3 people die from the virus. Jackson and Wood have had one person die from the virus.
