Coronavirus Numbers for July 24th: Another Record Day of New Cases in the State

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 778,842 negative cases, 45,899 positive cases (an increase of 1,052 over yesterday) and 878 deaths, an increase of 13 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 4,273, or 9%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 152 positive cases and 3,156 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 177 positive and 8,981 negative, Eau Claire has 421 positive and 12,322 negative and Jackson has 38 positive and 4,590 negative.
Also, Wood has 152 positive and 7,503 negative, Marathon has 432 positive and 10,242 negative and Taylor has 37 positive and 1,456 negative. Clark County has had 7 people die from the virus. Marathon and Eau Claire have had 3 people die from the virus. Jackson and Wood have had one person die from the virus.
