Coronavirus Numbers for July 22nd: State Has Record Number of New Cases With Over 1,100 Reported

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 750,562 negative cases, 44,135 positive cases (an increase of 1,117 over yesterday) and 859 deaths, an increase of 13 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 4,194, or 9%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 142 positive cases and 3,047 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 165 positive and 8,665 negative, Eau Claire has 407 positive and 11,647 negative and Jackson has 36 positive and 4,485 negative.
Also, Wood has 140 positive and 7,210 negative, Marathon has 388 positive and 9,803 negative and Taylor has 34 positive and 1,420 negative. Clark County has had 7 people die from the virus. Marathon has had 3 people die from the virus. Eau Claire has had 2 people die from the virus. Jackson and Wood have had one person die from the virus.
