Black River Falls Fire Department Responds to Apartment Fire

-The Black River Falls Fire Department responded to a small fire at an apartment building.Around 5pm on Friday, the department received a call about a fire alarm at Union Place Apartments. They were told there was a small cooking fire in one of the units. The department cleared the smoke from the building and there was no further threat, so residents were allowed in.
Three people were treated for smoke inhalation and one was transported to the hospital because of smoke inhalation.
