Coronavirus Numbers for July 17th

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 699,670 negative cases, 39,627 positive cases (an increase of 900 over yesterday) and 831 deaths, an increase of 4 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 3,968, or 10%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 129 positive cases and 2,880 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 151 positive and 8,159 negative, Eau Claire has 365 positive and 11,024 negative and Jackson has 37 positive and 4,313 negative.
Also, Wood has 120 positive and 6,614 negative, Marathon has 326 positive and 9,190 negative and Taylor has 26 positive and 1,313 negative. Clark County has had 7 people die from the virus. Marathon has had 2 people die from the virus. Jackson, Wood and Eau Claire have had one person die from the virus.
