Coronavirus Numbers for July 8th: State Has Over 800 Deaths

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 601,012 negative cases, 32,556 positive cases (an increase of 495 over yesterday) and 805 deaths, an increase of 9 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 3,639, or 11%, have been hospitalized. Clark County now has 88 positive cases and 2,291 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 118 positive and 5,532 negative, Eau Claire has 300 positive and 8,705 negative and Jackson has 31 positive and 2,990 negative.
Also, Wood has 86 positive and 5,536 negative, Marathon has 226 positive and 7,590 negative and Taylor has 16 positive and 1,082 negative. Clark County has had 7 people die from the virus. Jackson, Marathon, Wood and Eau Claire have had one person die from the virus.
