Coronavirus Numbers for July 1st: More Cases in Clark County

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 539,539 negative cases, 28,659 positive cases (an increase of 601) and 784 deaths, an increase of 7 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 3,446, or 12%, have been hospitalized. Clark County now has 77 positive cases and 2,105 negative. Of those cases 17 are active. Of the county’s 77 positive cases, 54 have recovered. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 84 positive and 4,885 negative and Eau Claire has 229 positive and 8,249 negative.
Also, Jackson has 27 positive and 2,464 negative, Wood has 51 positive and 4,909 negative, Marathon has 168 positive and 6,624 negative and Taylor has 12 positive and 1,000 negative. Clark County has had 6 people die from the virus. Jackson, Marathon, Wood and Eau Claire have had one person die from the virus.
