Coronavirus Numbers for June 26th: Another Day of Over 400 New Cases

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 498,561 negative cases, 26,227 positive cases, an increase of 464 over yesterday, and 766 deaths, an increase of 9 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 3,326, or 13%, have been hospitalized. Clark County now has 64 positive cases and 1,969 negative. Of those cases 16 are active. The county has had 9 total people hospitalized, but no one is currently hospitalized. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 76 positive and 4,524 negative and Eau Claire has 176 positive and 7,586 negative.
Also, Jackson has 26 positive and 2,255 negative, Wood has 37 positive and 4,524 negative, Marathon has 137 positive and 6,203 negative and Taylor has 10 positive and 924 negative. Clark County has had 6 people die from the virus. Jackson, Marathon, Wood and Eau Claire have had one person die from the virus.
