Coronavirus Number for June 23rd: State Cases Pass 25,000, Clark County Reaches 60 Cases

-Taking a look at the updated coronavirus numbers from yesterday:The state has 466,634 negative cases, 25,068 positive cases, an increase of 249 over yesterday, and 745 deaths, an increase of 1 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 3,231, or 13%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 60 positive cases and 1,883 negative. Of those cases 14 are active. One person is currently in the hospital and the county has had 9 total people hospitalized. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 70 positive and 4,294 negative and Eau Claire has 163 positive and 7,027 negative.
Also, Jackson has 24 positive and 2,147 negative, Wood has 33 positive and 4,144 negative, Marathon has 115 positive and 5,973 negative and Taylor has 8 positive and 861 negative. Clark County has 6 people die from the virus. Jackson, Marathon, Wood and now Eau Claire have had one person die from the virus.
