COVID-19 Pandemic Update for the Afternoon of June 18th: Two More Deaths in Clark County

We have a COVID-19 update for you this afternoon.
Taking a look at the updated state numbers, the state has 433,913 negative tests, 23,876 positive cases (an increase of 421 over yesterday) and 719 deaths, an increase of 7 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 3,160, or 13%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 56 positive cases and 1,749 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 65 positive and 4,033 negative, Eau Claire has 149 positive and 6,670 negative, Jackson has 24 positive and 2,026 negative, Wood has 28 positive and 3,552 negative, Marathon has 95 positive and 5,422 negative and Taylor has 6 positive cases and 811 negative. Clark County has had 6 people die from the coronavirus. Marathon, Jackson and Wood Counties have had one person die due to the coronavirus.
