Clark County Community Foundation Has New Way for Residents to Donate to the Clark County Fairgrounds Revitalization Project

Monday, June 15th, 2020 -- 8:48 AM

-The Clark County Community Foundation has a fun new fundraising effort to help raise funds for the Clark County Fairgrounds Revitalization Project.

The foundation acts as the Fiscal Sponsor of the project. For this new effort, the Clark County Fairgrounds will reach its 150-year anniversary in 2022. So, the foundation is asking people to sign up and donate $150 here in 2020, next year in 2021 and finally in 2022, for a total of $450. Asking for $150 per year is a great way to acknowledge the sesquicentennial of Clark County Fair, happening in 2022, and this new effort is a great way for anybody to be involved. The Fundraising Committee is in the final stages of raising the funds needed to reach the goal for Phase I of the Project, which is the Multipurpose Livestock Building. Whether people want to be part of this “150 Club” in their own name, family name or “In Honor” or “In Memory” of people in their lives, this is a great way to get involved.

Donations could also be made in the names of current or past 4-H Club leaders, 4-H or FFA Clubs, community organizations, or in memory of some of the Fairground Legends of the past. To put it into perspective, if 100 people or families join the 150 Club, the foundation will raise $45,000. If you’re interested in donating to the project using this new effort, or donating any amount in any way, you can contact the Clark County Community Foundation at 715-937-6167 or [email protected].
