USDA Announces May Federal Order Class III Price

The USDA announced that the May Federal Order Class III price was $12.14 per hundredweight.That was 93-cents less than April's price, and $4.24 lower than May 2019. It's also the lowest Class III price since October 2009 when it was announced at $12.11. So far, the Class III price has averaged $15.10 during 2020.
The Class IV component price was 73-cents lower than last month at $10.67, and $5.62 less than last year. Meanwhile, the Wisconsin all milk price for April was announced at $14.00 per cwt., down $4.10 from March's price and $3.90 less than the same time a year earlier. (Wisconsin Ag Connection)
