Inmate Found Dead in Jackson County Jail

-An inmate was found dead in the Jackson County Jail yesterday.According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, on Thursday, May 28th, they found a 44-year-old inmate unresponsive in his cell. Lifesaving measures were attempted, but the man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The sheriff’s department has asked another local sheriff’s department to investigate the incident. The initial investigation indicates no foul play. The inmate’s name isn’t being released at this time.
