COVID-19 Pandemic Update for the Afternoon of May 28th: Wisconsin Reaches 550 Deaths

We have a COVID-19 update for you this afternoon.
Taking a look at the updated state numbers, the state has 220,719 negative tests, 16,974 positive cases (an increase of 512 over yesterday) and 550 deaths, an increase of 11 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 2,452, or 14%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 32 positive cases and 837 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 53 positive and 2,426 negative, Eau Claire has 99 positive and 4,197 negative, Jackson has 15 positive and 1,054 negative, Wood has 10 positive and 1,701 negative, Marathon has 43 positive and 2,609 negative and Taylor has 1 positive case and 368 negative. Clark County has had 4 people die from the coronavirus. Marathon, Jackson and Wood Counties have had one person die due to the coronavirus.
