COVID-19 Pandemic Update for the Afternoon of May 26th: Updated Numbers From the State

We have a COVID-19 update for you this afternoon.
Taking a look at the updated state numbers, the state has 200,874 negative tests, 15,863 positive cases and 517 deaths. Of the positive cases, 2,362, or 15%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 29 positive cases and 778 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 54 positive and 2,353 negative, Eau Claire has 100 positive and 4,116 negative, Jackson has 14 positive and 1,004 negative, Wood has 9 positive and 1,604 negative, Marathon has 42 positive and 2,390 negative and Taylor has 1 positive case and 349 negative. Clark County has had 4 people die from the coronavirus. Marathon and Jackson Counties have had one person die due to the coronavirus. And Wood County has reported their first death from the virus.
