COVID-19 Pandemic Update for the Afternoon of May 21st: A Correction in Clark County Cases

We have a COVID-19 update for you this afternoon.
Taking a look at the updated state numbers, the state has 163,238 negative tests, 13,885 positive cases (an increase of 472 over yesterday) and 487 deaths, an increase of 6 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 2,218, or 16%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has a correction of positive cases with 29 positive and 606 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 45 positive and 1,926 negative, Eau Claire has 82 positive and 3,660 negative, Jackson has 15 positive and 753 negative, Wood has 9 positive and 1,406 negative, Marathon has 35 positive and 1,839 negative and Taylor still has 1 positive cases and 260 negative. Clark County has had 4 people die from the coronavirus. Marathon and Jackson Counties have had one person die due to the coronavirus.
