Granton Community Holding Parade for High School Seniors on Saturday

-The Granton Senior Class will be honored this Saturday with a parade.The parade will be held at 2pm at the park in Granton. When they arrive at the park, they will be directed where to park and will need to park 6 feet away from each other and maintain social distancing. They will have press and a volunteer will be coming to take photos of them, but they want you all to be safe during this uncertain time. Park by backing into a spot in your order to leave for this event as when you return. They will give you your food and beverages that will be donated from Arby’s, Rogers, Mapleworks, and the C-Store to go. Students should NOT plan to eat these at the park. They will have Jason Zaleski for their MC and he’ll be recoding this event as well. The parade will be lead by the Granton Fire Chief.
They will start at the park and head up to the c-store and then zig zag back through town to hit all of the side streets and the last road will be from the corner heading back to the park passing the GCC, the post office, and the bank. They will go in front of the fire station and return to the park. Now, it’s important to note that this event is NOT sponsored by the Granton Area School in anyway. They thank you for understanding and they want you to know that your safety is the MOST IMPORTANT THING during this PARADE. Please have everyone you know share that social distancing is a MUST. They thank you all for your cooperation with this and they know the community is excited to celebrate the senior’s accomplishments.
