COVID-19 Pandemic Update for the Afternoon of May 20th: Over 500 New Cases in the State; Another Positive Case in Clark County

We have a COVID-19 update for you this afternoon.
Taking a look at the updated state numbers, the state has 154,300 negative tests, 13,413 positive cases (an increase of 528 over yesterday) and 481 deaths, an increase of 14 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 2,161, or 16%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 30 positive and 593 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 43 positive and 1,876 negative, Eau Claire has 78 positive and 3,631 negative, Jackson has 15 positive and 723 negative, Wood has 8 positive and 1,371 negative, Marathon has 35 positive and 1,748 negative and Taylor still has 1 positive cases and 250 negative. Clark County has had 4 people die from the coronavirus. Marathon and Jackson Counties have had one person die due to the coronavirus.
