COVID-19 Pandemic Update for the Afternoon of May 19: Another Confirmed Case for Clark County

We have a COVID-19 update for you this afternoon.
Taking a look at the updated state numbers, the state has 148,237 negative tests, 12,885 positive cases (an increase of 198 over yesterday) and 467 deaths, an increase of 8 over yesterday. Of the positive cases, 2,110, or 16%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 29 positive and 568 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 42 positive and 1,824 negative, Eau Claire has 75 positive and 3,540 negative, Jackson has 15 positive and 684 negative, Wood has 8 positive and 1,310 negative, Marathon has 34 positive and 1,671 negative and Taylor still has no positive cases and 242 negative. Clark County has had 4 people die from the coronavirus. Marathon and Jackson Counties have had one person die due to the coronavirus.
