Wood County Crash Victims Indentified

Wood County officials have identified the two people who died in a two-car crash Thursday afternoon.WDLB in Marshfield reports that the crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on Highway 10 at County Trunk “K” in the township of Auburndale. According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, a pickup truck driven by 32-year-old Cory Mallow of Stratford was going west on 10 when he collided with a southbound car on “K” driven by 48-year-old Tia Garcia of Spencer. She and her passenger ??" 59-year-old Kenneth Szaflarski of Marshfield -- were pronounced dead at the scene. Mallow and his passenger ??" 30-year-old Ethan Chadwick of Arpin ??" sustained minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
