Two People Dead After Two-Vehicle Crash in Wood County

(WDLB) -A 59-year-old Marshfield man and 48-year-old Spencer woman are dead after a two-vehicle crash yesterday afternoon.The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on Highway 10 at County Trunk “K” in the township of Auburndale. According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, a pickup truck driven by a 32-year-old Stratford man was going west on 10 when he collided with a southbound car on “K” driven by the Spencer woman.
She and her passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver and his passenger, a 30-year-old Arpin man, sustained minor injuries. The names of those involved are being withheld pending the notification of relatives. The crash remains under investigation.
