Look for the Helpers: Marshfield Rocks

-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother, so we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at Marshfield Rocks. Marshfield Rocks is a Facebook group that paints rocks with different pictures and positive sayings. They then hide the rocks throughout the Marshfield area for others to find. They can then keep the rocks or re-hide them for others to find. They can also paint their own rocks to hide for people to find. This is a fun activity for people to do while they are social distancing, but still enjoying the outdoors. The rocks also spread messages of positivity during the coronavirus pandemic when people may be feeling scared or unhappy.
This may be a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Let's all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day.
