Boyd Man Arrested for 5th OWI in Marathon County

-A Boyd man was arrested in Marathon County for 5th OWI on Wednesday.According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a trooper stopped a vehicle just before 2pm on I-39 in Marathon County on Wednesday for equipment violations. Troopers said the driver, 37-year-old Gerardo Trevino, seemed impaired, so a field sobriety test was performed.
He failed the test and was arrested for operating while intoxicated. He also had methamphetamine in his possession. He’s facing a charge of bail jumping as well.
