Look for the Helpers: Marshfield Area United Way

-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother, so we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at the Marshfield Area United Way. To name just a few of the many things they’re doing, the United Way has stepped up and partnered with other local organizations and businesses to provide services and supplies to those struggling during the coronavirus pandemic. They’ve been collecting PPE items for medical professionals, food for those in need and collecting/distributing funds to those in need. They've also been providing tips and resources for parents to keep kids busy and for individuals to keep themselves busy and happy during the pandemic.
This may be a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Let's all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day. And, if possible, make sure you continue to support our local businesses. They’re going to need our support now more than ever.
