Look for the Helpers: Colby School District

-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother, so we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at the Colby School District. To name just a few of the many things they’re doing, they’re providing free meals for their students during the closure, as well as work they can do to keep up their skills. They’re also reading stories to their kids using videos and connecting with their students in other fun ways on Facebook.
This may be a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Let's all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day. And, if possible, make sure you continue to support our local businesses. They’re going to need our support now more than ever.
