Mixed Commodity Prices for March

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin during March was $3.51 per bushel, according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report.That was down 15-cents from February and three-cents below the previous March. Soybeans were $8.30 per bushel for the month, down 15-cents from February and 31-cents lower than the previous March. The price of oats were $3.26 per bushel, up 11-cents for the month and 34-cents higher for the year. All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $174.00 per ton in March, down $2.00 from February and $14.00 below March 2019.
The alfalfa hay price averaged $180.00 per ton, down $4.00 from the month prior and $23.00 below last March. The other hay price averaged $153.00, up $8.00 from last month and $1.00 from the the same time in 2019.
