Wisconsin FFA Center Extends Deadline for State FFA Officer Applications

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Because of the current COVID-19 situation, the Wisconsin FFA Center announced it has extended the deadline for students to submit state FFA officer applications.Executive Director Cheryl Zimmerman says members interested in running for state office now have until May 12 to submit their resume and paperwork. "We are still having many discussions yet as to how the 2020-2021 state officer election process will work this year," Zimmerman said. "We will keep everyone informed as to what this process will consist of and the timeline we will follow."
Earlier this month, the FFA announced it is postponing its in-person state convention and will make plans to offer a virtual experience to recognize award winners and honorees.
