Look for the Helpers: Decorator Industries

-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother, so we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at Decorator Industries in Abbotsford. DI has been making fabric face masks for health care workers and others in need during the coronavirus pandemic. Last Tuesday, they hit a milestone in producing fabric face masks. They hit their 20,000th donated mask, and their 30,000th mask produced. They thanked their employees who have taken on the challenge and come in with great attitudes to do this important work. This milestone and everyone these masks are helping is all because of their employees.
This may be a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Let's all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day. And, if possible, make sure you continue to support our local businesses. They’re going to need our support now more than ever.
